{"id":2820,"date":"2025-10-20T11:10:03","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T09:10:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/openideas.site\/manzanareselreal\/circuito-de-running-urbano\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T11:23:51","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T09:23:51","slug":"urban-running-circuit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/manzanareselreal.org\/en\/urban-running-circuit\/","title":{"rendered":"Urban Running Circuit"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Route<\/h2>\n<p>The circuit, with an <strong>approximate distance of 10 kilometers<\/strong>, begins at the Castle of the Mendoza family and allows you to <strong>walk or run alongside the most iconic landmarks of Manzanares El Real<\/strong>: the Castle of the Mendoza family, the Church of Our Lady of the Snows, the Old Bridge, the Old Castle, and the Hermitage of Pe\u00f1a Sacra, while also passing through natural areas such as the surroundings of the Santillana Reservoir, El Tranco, and the Ca\u00f1ada de los Toros.<\/p>\n<h2>For jogging or walking<\/h2>\n<p class=\"destacado1\">The circuit has also been adapted to offer two shorter routes of 3 and 5 kilometers, which can be enjoyed either for jogging or simply walking.<\/p>\n<h2>Outdoor fitness areas<\/h2>\n<p><strong>The circuit is complemented by the 4 outdoor fitness areas available in Manzanares El Real:<\/strong> near the football field, Valdelospi\u00e9s, the Old Castle, and the Ca\u00f1ada de los Toros.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"recurso Imagen middle\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"middle\" title=\"Football field\" src=\"https:\/\/manzanareselreal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/e-09.jpg\" alt=\"Football field\" border=\"0\" \/><figcaption>Football field<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These areas have been improved by repairing or replacing part of the equipment, including the following elements: abdominal benches, lower back benches, dip bars, jumping points, and hurdle jumps.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"recurso Imagen middle\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"middle\" title=\"Old Castle\" src=\"https:\/\/manzanareselreal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/e-10.jpg\" alt=\"Old Castle\" border=\"0\" \/><figcaption>Old Castle<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The circuit is marked with 20 milestones<\/strong> along the route that <strong>indicate the distance and the main intersections<\/strong>.
